Fulfillment is a dramatic ensemble piece based on a tightly knit group of
American factory workers and their daily struggle to survive. We began
writing Fulfillment about five years ago, and in that time it has grown
into a labor of love. While living in a cramped apartment in New York, we created the
characters, worked on the script, and hammered out a storyline. From the
original concept of a television
show, three other projects were born. First are about eleven very short vignettes we've written featuring characters from the show. We recently finished writing them, and expect to begin shooting them soon. Second is a short film we wrote based on the same characters. While it began as a fifteen minute short, it has slowly evolved into a much more ambitious (and a much more enjoyable) product, which we have had to temporarily postpone to concentrate on other productions. And last is the television show which served as the inspiration for the other projects. It's a darker comedy than the shorts and much more dramatic. We think it's a television experience whose time has come. We are very excited about it, and can't wait to introduce them to you. |
